Sport is the universal language capable of uniting and building. This is the experience of Dolomitica Sport Trentino, the Pinzolo association led by Michele Maturi which in a few years has been able to organize successful sporting events, but above all has created around itself a dense network of realities, administrations, voluntary associations, enthusiasts of sport and community life.
The engine of everything is the passion for sport, but above all for our territory and for its precious natural and human resources. Above all human, the many, many people who work with willingness and passion for the success of the events and who were honored with a dinner, last Friday 19 November, at La Contea di Borgo Lares. An act of due recognition in which many authorities of the valley and the sponsors of the events organized by Dolomitica Sport Trentino also wanted to participate.
The highlight is the Dolomitica Brenta Bike, born eight years ago, which from a "country" race has become in a few years an international event dedicated to high-level mountain biking, so much so that it was nominated and therefore chosen by the UCI (International Cycling Union ) as the venue for the 2022 World Championships for the Masters categories. The event will take place from next 24 to 26 June  in Pinzolo and will involve more than a thousand athletes from all over Italy and the world.
The second event is the Dolomitica Run Half Marathon, the first half marathon in Val Rendena, held on September 18th between Pinzolo and Tione, a first edition which, despite the rain, was a great success and which consecrated the association of Michele Maturi one of the leading organizations in the sports field.
The provincial councilor Roberto Failoni, the president of the Apt Campiglio Tullio Serafini, the mayor of Pinzolo Michele Cereghini, the deputy mayor of Tione Roberto Zamboni, the president of Sarca BIM Giorgio Marchetti and the Mr Diego Binelli. The praise and applause for the ability to work as a team and for the strength of volunteering were unanimous and recognized as a solid foundation for building ever stronger and more incisive events and synergies, also for the purpose of promoting our territory. Satisfied and excited the president of Dolomitica Sport Trentino, Michele Maturi: "I thank everyone remembering that only thanks to your willingness and your strength in believing in the" Dolomitica "project have we been able to achieve these results, but the most important thing about my group is I was lucky enough to meet many people who over time have become great friends with a single goal, that of making our fantastic territory known and valued through sport. Today I ask for a great commitment from everyone! The World Championships are an international showcase and we have to make a good impression as always. Mark the date on the calendar: "Dolomitica UCI Masters MTB Narathon World Championships" from 24 to 26 June 2022. We need all of you ".
